Default Adding new channels?

Hi,

First post on here, but I've been reading for a while, so firstly, thanks for all the help I've (secretly) received so far

Just a couple of questions...

Firstly, first thing I did when I got my box was search for channels, then spent hours painstakingly arranging them into some sort of order (ie, terrestrial channels then BBC choice/ITV3/E4 etc, Bravo + paramount etc, Sport, Kids, Music, Porn, Education, Shopping, Foreign). If I do a new search, am I going to lose the ordering I currently have? How can I just search for new channels (ie, N*L are rolling out AFC TV in a few weeks) and drop them into my EPG? The best would be to hook it up to my pc, save the channel listings then edit manually (with an ascii/hex editor?)

Secondly, is the optical out broadcast in anything other than basic stereo?

Hi

Get youself a copy of Starview Channel Editor, that's the easiest way to move your channel listing about.

The audio output although stereo carries the dolby prologic information, so if you're connected to a prologic receiver you'll get surround sound.

Hope this helps
