Hey Spikey,
As I am just starting off, I still have not got grasped the concept of Modifying. Are you telling me that Once my Infinity gets delivered and I use a software, thats all I need to do or is there anything physical I need to place in the box, hence the term 'Chipped box'? Sorry for asking such a silly question, but everything I have read up on has talked about Jtag which appears to be soldering something to the box etc?? Cheers mate!

Thanks Spikey, you're a class act mate! I will wait until the progy arrives, its an Infinity and then I will either post another message here or PM you if you do not mind? I was thinking of preparing myself and trying to cut talkback following and old thread but it seems bloody hard! I have only managed to push back the metal backing for the tuner, wide enough to see behind. Although I have loosened the front metal cover, the two metal tuner boxes on infront of it prevents me to open any further, hence I can not access the chip/track directly?!! The old thread I am following diects me to push up a pin via the back of the talk back chip but I can not seem to find the right one?? Shall I just call it a day mate and continue when I got the gear?
Cheers Spikey!!

Its easier if you take the tuner out, that VM2000 tut is on the second page just scroll down to btm on first page and click on page 2. might come in handy if you cant read card.

Hey Red,
I have looked at the 2 tuners and can not see how they can be removed? I have managed to open the side casing on the one but it seems to be solidly fixed to the motherboard? Is there a specific technique as I am just trying limited things which are not helping. Lastly I have found the VM2000 page mate, so thanks for that! Cheers!

3 screws at the back of the box, take lid off tuner is were the cable goes into the back of the box, remove hexagon nut take small silver screw out and then lever the tuner out gently towards the side of the box, undo casing, and you see chip.

Cheers Jimbo! After a few bent metals, I have managed to do it, tried on the box which has its original card locked, as I am now using it as an experiment box seen as the methods to get its BK seem too long winded. I hope the other one allows me to retreive its bk via the paired card so fingers crossed!! Hey how do I know once I cut (is it just simply a fine blades cut across the feed) that it has been successful? Furthermore once I know its done, can I just simply substitue the cut tuner with the chosen boxes tuner, I want to mod??
Cheers again Mate!

You can cut twice close together and lift the bit of track off inbetween, if you look in menu it will tell you its off, and you wont be able to access on demand.
