But I think I may have installed the wrong software, because it read card in 'WaferCard' category. I only installed Infinity USB complete on WB electronics web site, I guess I still have not installed the pheonix one I need right??

I put my card in and a window pops up 'The CPU detected is used on multiple different cards. To determine the exact card, a full detection is needed, which will erase the contents of the card'. I click on cancel as I dont want to delete it and press the read button at the bottom. the cards read and 2 blue bars on the left of the new window states 100%, but this is only read on the first choice 'WaferCard' one of many listed on the drop down menu. Thats all I can view, no other option for Pheonix, under File, Tools, Options etc. I have Installed another version for the usb and it specifically states 'Infinity USB Phoenix', but once thats installed and run, it does nothing when I insert my card?? I even close the programe, insert the card and open the programe to see if it boots up reading the card but nothing? However on the bottom left of the windown it states 'Programmer disconnected' so I can only assume the Phenoix programe I have downloaded from WB electronics does not like my Infinity programmer which contradicts the software title 'Infinity USB Phoenix'?? Help, if I need another software can someone PM me and i will provide my email, as its doing my head in now!!

When you plugged in the infinity usb cable did your pc detect and install your programmer, you dont use any of the card options with a mosc, you just open the programmer software and start phoenix mode 3.68, i dont know where it is on infinity, on dynamite plus you just click on utillities.

Hey Red I think I have managed to read it as it has given me the following in this order;
*ATR string (with two set of numbers), *ROM Revision, *EPROM revision, *SetIFS failed, *Using BD3 Key (with another string of numbers), *Reading Rome10 failed, Has it managed to provide me with the info required from the original paired card or has it failed? Please let me know and what I need to do next. Thanks! |

Just to add, the card now states EEPROM Revision: A3E? which is very strange as I am sure the eng menu on the box stated revA16E! How can this be? Does that mean it is locked? How can both the eng revision and the Nagra be different?? HELP!

I dont think its locked with that revision stewie , it looks like a backdoor problem. try reading it with xncs rom studio 1.8, open settings and tick all options except ghost must be in eeprom, now click green reset button, once card details are displayed click read card, now click eeprom tab and scroll down through the eeprom dump until you find c040 + c070 these are the back door keys, go back to nagra edit 4.1 and try both keys.
