How do I Modify a Pace 2000 model??

I am in possession of 2 x 2000 Pace models. Both have their original cards however by following the guide from downloads, I have established that one of the cards has been locked via ‘A82’ indication on the eng menu. Firstly can I still mod the one where the card appears unlocked and if so, how i.e still jTaging?? Lastly the one which has its card blocked, can that be salvaged?? Furthermore what is un-looping, and is that a process which I need to do for the box and card that is unlocked? a step-by-step guide would be handy, as I could not find one on the downloads for a 2000 model!

2000 cant be jtagged so you defo need to unlock the card in it, hoping it is a paired card.

Hi Jimbo,

I have the original NPL card which corresponds to the box, so what is my next step? I have already ordered the Infinity USB and have an old Fun Card 4 and an old Titanium2 card??

A detailed guide would be helpful, furthermore I am having trouble finding the area on the 2000 for 'cutting talk back'?

first of the card is probaly locked so u will need an unlooper to open the card.

How would I establish that the card is defo locked? I used the basic cable guide which told me if I got an 'rev A82' which I did for one of the box and its original card then it is locked, but other one which I am hoping to mod did not state an 'rev A81', so does that not mean that this card is okay? or am I missing something? I wish there was an detailed guide for the 2000 on how to establish these things and going on from there?? But I do think the other card is Okay??

What rev is the other card ?

so you have 2 card 1 A82 .you can open this with the mmrp1.5 script or the new script to be released by mikedata and chartman, the A81 seems to be a private blocker on it , it can be unopened, try the A86 script

bloody hell forgort this is a atmel removal ( very tricky ) or voltmeter method

Hi Red,

The other rev I think was A16E? Also I could not find the VM2000, can you PM me a direct link? Can the other blocked 'rev A82' be unblocked? I don't think I got the right boxes for my first try eh?! I was hoping that the unblocked original card and box would allow me to modify without getting messy?
