Default How to get free minutes???

I've had T-mobile for awhile...and the thing is, some of my friends say they received extra 100-200 FREE minutes just by calling them.

I guess they sorta "threaten" the cutomer care people by saying "give me minutes or I will end the contract with you guys". hahahaha :thinkerg:

Anybody else have tried this?

I used to have a pay as you go phone offered by one of my local providers, Telus... I guess something got leaked out from their staff discount programs or their tech department... Anyways, there was a 'cheat' number you could phone... if you phoned this number, it would bring up a dialtone, then you dial the telus mobility customer you want to phone, and they don't get charged for any of their minutes on that call. So, you can buy the minimum moonthly minutes, get people to call you using this cheat number, and never run out of minutes. Worked really great for a couple years, until they disabled it.

I am with Orange and when it came to the end of my contract they said they could match any deal I had seen on the internet rather than me paying the usual upgrade fee.

The end result is I now have half price line rental for life. Until I need another upgrade anyway.
