Default usals seting help

i am in stockport my
Latitude = 53.4085, Longitude = -2.1493
Lat = 53 degrees, 24.5 minutes North
Long = 2 degrees, 9.0 minutes West
what do i set position seting at
antenna longitude 00.0 W and antenna latitude 00.0 N
do i set them longitude to 02.1 W latitude 53.5 N

Yes, that is right, although 53.4 should be set rather than 53.5, as its closer to your latitude.

i would set that as what robbo said 53.4n and 2.1w and then align on your nearest due south satellite as usual

right st it to log 2.1 W lat 53.4 N press ok save then gon to move gon west got level 97 quality 75 then gon to go to press ok it then it losses the satilite thanks mick for all the help

Hi mate, could you please drop the text speak, I have a job understanding it.

I think I can make out what you have said though, just

What you are doing wrong is that you have to go outside and adjust the dish AFTER you have sent the dish to 1W.

That is:

Enter your longitude and latitude.

Go to the motorised settings, and tell the receiver to send the dish to 1W.

Then check on the receiver for 11325H (BBC world)

Then go outside, adjust the dish up and down, and wiggle the motor round the pole left and right , until you maximise the signal and quality on that transponder. Try and centre it between the points where the signal quality drops.

It should now be setup, just ensure all the other satellites are also set for USALS.
