Default Connection to eurovox help

Right here goes could somebody please tell me what I am doing wrong just bought a new eurovox was told its plug and play I live in Ireland and have the basic N*L package have the cable going into tv took this out and put it into the back of the box top left corner looking from back of the box put scart into box connected up to the tv go to tv where usually my dvd recorder stn is and it comes up “no signal” press menu on eurovox remote and I go through all the motions power scan , this runs through it but never picks up the stations …do I have it set up right any advice would be great no matter how small

Hi try this plug the white or black cable coming out of the wall into the eurovox connect the scart lead to tv no other connection switch on go into menu do a full power scan not a normal see how you get on report if it works. the cable that is going into your tv this is just a guess as im not there may be the loop though from the ntl tv tuner ariel in then out for your tv channels when you watch normal tv.

he bandit thanks for your reply sound man .... did what you said and still no joy does a power scan on full as you said and goes through it at about 85% but never comes up with a channel just TP00 is on the screen , do you think i should flash it again or any other idea's .... made a big mistake also when going through the menu changed back to factory settings now on top of everything else i am getting no transponder's not having much luck with this bloody thing , when its connected up it comes up as this "channel not available" what ya reckon i do now bandit...your my last hope

Casual question are you scanning on 6.952 ? pretty sure you should be ...in any case just try the other one (6.887) for the sake of it ...

Hi have a look though the threads or ask im sure there is a list of setting for ireland also are you flashing this box with Kuro beta 2 firmware .

Yeah telecom69 tried both just nothing seems to work what ever i try .. now i have to try and get the transponders back i think you can do this manualy right ???but even with them the first thing that comes up on the tv is "channel curently not available" now i am thinking maybe it wont work in my house so tried my mates and still nothing.. haveing said that i have the basic n%l package but i am pretty sure its not digital does this matter! hey bandit had a look through the threads cant find anything with same problem as mine yeah its flashed already am tempted to flash it again myself but the supplier e-mailed me today and said not to ....have a right pain in the b$%locks with it at this stage but i will keep tring write back if anyone has any ideas .....if anyone knows how to put the transponders back on the box that would be a start cheers boys thanks
