Default eurovox has lost all channels...

and now when i do a scan i get some wierd results, ive updated the firmware to the beta one, ive restored everything to factory settings, tried a few different options in the power scan, (normal and full) and its still the same.

its a eurovox that i got off ebay for a friend for christmas and ive got exactly thesame one and have copied all the settings but its stil the same...

ill attach a jpg to show you.

then after this screen it doesnt find any channels?
im really at a loss, i'd really like some help on this one please?

Hi Sufoca,

Two questions.... Are you using the correct Baud for your provider & are you pressing the "ok" button on the remote to give each channel a tick before you complete a manual scan?

yes i was using the correct number for nthell :-)

i did get it working by updating the firmware and then exporting the channel list from my box to this one and it worked, not sure why?

how do you mean put a tick by each channel? ive never had to do that before? do you mean on the screen that i posted a picture of?

the symbol rate for ntl is 6.952 not 6.887 as you have in your picture. and press ok to put a tick on the screen you have posted then using up and down arrows on remote move and put ticks in all frequencies then press blue button for manual scan .

i just got this from the guide posted in the dl forum bit of this website..

BY DEFAULT THE EUROVOX MAX SOFTWARE POWER SCANS ON SYMBOL RATE 6952 – THIS IS FOR TELEWEST.

IF YOU LIVE IN AN NTL OR EX C&W AREA – YOU MUST CHANGE THIS NUMBER USING THE REMOTE CONTROL FROM 6952 TO 6887

I'm in a nthell area and use 6.887 as you have and I'm fine but I have seen a third baud rate somewhere on this forum if you are not sure.

Yes on the same screen as you have shown on each line as you scroll up and down press ok to put a tick on each frequency and perform a manual scan. When I have done this I only did five at a time. (Not sure if it made any difference !

im on ntl and its 6.952 and i must have done 10 or 12 boxes for the same area all 6.952. was ntl now virgin
