You can get a signal booster from argos (slx1p) that has a gain control on it, put this on the cable feed before the splitter and adjust the gain to suit.
if it d'ont work you can get a refund at argos! hope this helps.

Ok, please see the image attached to understand what i'm trying to.

Basically this would be the setup for a pc in each of the 4 bedrooms.
I'm assuming that if i want to record a cable channel on my pc whilst watching a different channels that i'd need 2 feeds to do it?
Please correct advise me if i'm wrong.
I'm aware that if this is indeed the way to do it, then i may need another loftbox or a bigger one as 2 feeds per room leaves no spare coax ports to go to the eurovox downstairs.

Doesn't the C-1500 have 2 inputs (tuners)?

Hi, before I discovered this forum I bought 2 x C-1500 DVBC cards, but still dont know if i can use these in the same PC. I'm hoping to achieve a slightly similar thing to you, but only on 1 PC.

So therefore I will split the V*rgin feed in to three, one for cable modem, the other two for each C-1500.

Can't test this yet as still haven't got the parts together for a suitable PC. Was assuming this kind of PC needs serious horsepower for decrypting two DVB signals on the fly?
