I am very very cautious of what data google is collating about me. Ive nothing to hide but I just don't like how they operate.
Id say it could be hacked too.

Depends how secure your password is. Look for some secure passowrd generators - must be loads on the net. If you want something memorable, then choose a song you know with a six word or more title, take the first letters of the words, capitalise a couple and stick some memorable numbers in the middle.

There's a nasty exploit that if you click a link from Gmail to a malicious webpage,
it can record your Gmail login details:

Safe as any other mail system. I use it. Its fast and featuers are good.
The spam detector on it is very good as well. I would recommend it.
Not as flashy as the new hotmail services but good nonetheless.

yup, its as good as any others.. however i dont agree with their privacy policy (unless its changed since it first started)
