Hi,
I am new to the eurovox world and i am trying so please bare with me! ![]() I've downloaded the whole Eurovox.zip file from the downloads section and had a fiddle with the software, but i cant make heads and tails of it? To update your EuroVox box, do you need to find a .CDF file or do you need to find the .BIN files? Can someoneplease make it more clear? It would be much appreciated! |

BIN files are the firmware files which update your box with the latest software
CDF also known as service files are channel data. When youve done a scan you can upload your CDF/service file to pc and arrange channels as you want and use that service file on as many boxes as you want without the need to scan them as long as it the same area as you cause different areas transmit on different transponders/frequencys Hope that helps m8 |

The newer Eurovoxes have a UFL loader, which is an .exe file. cdf's are channel lists which you can load with the UFL

you wont need BIN files as lincsat says exe files are all you should use now, there was alot of problems with the black boxes using different loaders Dnupman/Voxer with the july BIN files so the loaders and firmware are now combined |
