Default Smart home multi room tv and audio

Im currently planning to have a system installed at home. Been looking at the smart home options, multi room tv and audio, lighting control, integrted cabling, hidden wire, remote controlled etc. Basicaly as techy as I can afford. Has anyone any experaince of this kind of system.

you may want to look into Media Server. hope that helps, google it. a central point for everything, then connect to it, there are windows and linux options.

Yeah media server's are agreat thing for the type of system you are looking for. I have seen a HP media server, which sells for around £500 but is very amazing.
