Default Downloading Movies

Could anyone please give me advice on downloading Movies from the Internet? I am downloading the torrent for a film and was wondering how I get it working or what software is best to use to get it working?

Any advice would be most welcome.

Many thanks in advance.

Originals??

Nero sometimes works, but a good programme is DVD Fab Platinum.

I take it you are using a download manager, such as BiComet or Bittorrent??

You may need to 'borow' a copy of a programme called 'winrar', as lots of movies are compressed into this format.
When the movie has downloaded, open the folder and right click on any rar'd file and and select 'extract here', this will uncompress the file into normal size.

I then suggest a programme called VLC player, which is a codec and plays almost any format, this a free download, and can be found on download.com.

Hope this is of use to you!

I use DVD Shrink (if you can still get hold of it) or DVD Fab Platinum to back up my DVDs. They are both pretty good.

Thanks for your comments so far.

The thing is I am downloading them from minninova at the moment and they mainly seem to be xvid files. They work fine on my PC but what free software can I use to convert these files before burning them to DVD.

At the moment when I burn them the to dvd they do not play.

Any further advice appreciated.

Thanks
