Default 4:2:2 feeds?

Having set up a motorized system last year I am considering trying to get 4:2:2 sports feeds for in-play betting. I am in Central Scotland and have the following:-

Technomate 1500 CI+ Super looped through to a Panasonic Sky digibox
TM-2200 Super DiSEqC motor
1m Funke dish with single lnb

From reading the forum is the "Technosat Skystar2" what I should be looking for? Excuse my ignorance but is this another receiver?

A Skystar 2 is a PCI card, which fits into your computer, and with the correct software you can open 4:2:2 transmissions.
The advantage of this is that you are turning your computer into a satellite receiver, so you should be able to record onto your hard drive, and do various other things with the right software.
Have a read through the Satellite TV on PC section for the full benefits.

Thanks Mickha. So if I were to fit a ss2 card to my pc, what wiring would I need to connect to my satellite - could I connect to my Technomate or digibox receivers?

If your receiver has a loop through you could connect the LNB that way, or you could have a separate dish and LNB for your new Skystar, giving you more options.

You could also fit a Twin LNB to your dish and run a feed straight to the other receiver, whether it's a SS2 or a standalone receiver that supports 4:2:2

I don't want to put up another dish and would prefer not to fit a twin LNB if possible. The preferred option would be to connect to my existing receivers (Technomate 1500 CI+ and Panasonic Sky digibox with loop through between them). Is it possible to connect in such a way that I can use these 2 receivers and receive 4:2:2 feeds to the ss2 card on my pc using just one LNB?

I have a skystar 2 and have it connected to my TM1000D via the loopthrough on the back. Works fine but you need to have the TM in standby. I don't think it can be done with the sky digibox aswell though.

From information we were given about 6 months ago most of the holy grail SIS feeds wanted by the real time betting guys are secure encrypted nowadays - SIS realised word was getting around and they were losing an advantage

Analoguesat, when you say "SIS feeds" are you referring specificly to horse racing? I am interested mainly in tennis feeds which may not be available elsewhere on tv or may be viewable faster than Eurosport, Sky etc.
