yes but it is not recommended to touch a subscribed modem, get a modem and mod it and u could be running at 20 meg if ur area supports it

Yes, phone V1rgin and tell them youde like too upgrade!! LOL

Seriously, at the moment V1rgin are concentrating on Broadband.
They want too be the forerunners in this area as they feel they have lost the battle for TV supremacy, so they are currently bricking modded modems, i would wait and see for a bit too see how things pan out, this is the reason i myself have not yet got a modded modem!

they have layed off at the minite just dont connect any modem to a cable feed thats going to accept the update because you will lose the option to hack the modem and you will nedd to reprogram the tsop or replace it

u dont need to reprogram the tsop u can use the soft jtag program to reload the bootloader onto the modem giving u the option p again, u could also keep ur subscribed modem on and connect the modded one for downloading etc
