Hello

I've recent bought a new LCD HDTV

Buy SONY KDL40D3500 | Digital 40" 1080p hd ready lcd tv - Televisions | Comet

When i watch sky on it through scart and av1 the picture quality isn't perfect i've played around with it and i cant seem to get it any better. I bought top quality gold plated scart leads for it and this make little difference. Is there any way to enhance the picture? the TV comes with build in freeview and the picture quality is perfect.

SCART is not an HD cable.

HDMI you need.

Assuming of course, that it is actually a SKY HD box that he has.

i assume he is referring to the quality of his standard definition sky through his new 40inch tv. With larger tv's picture quality will look alot worse thorugh scart, so if you can get a box with hdmi out, whether your sending HD or SD through it the picture will greatly improve. Which box to get however i dont know
