Maplin SL65/12

Excuse a numpty asking a simple question - I can hear the tut tuts from the knowledgeable and cries of "you shouldn't be allowed to have one" as the guy who couldn't fine the 'any key' was told by the help line operator ...

Like most I usually just look to 28° like most Brits whilst away, but wanted to look at a channel carried on 19° on my SL65/12.

The pre-loaded menu refused to work and on checking the Astra web site discovered that the bird had been 'parked' - which I gathered was a euphemism for 'turned off' and therefore couldn't upgrade.

Discovering this excellent site I set about downloading

I didn't turn on and insert the key (must remember to read the bloody manuals next time) ... which maybe the flaw ... but
the box booted but I found I had no 28° reference loaded - simply what I assume is the European defaults.
I've got round that by adding 'new satellite' and scanned for the channels and now all free UK channels popped up ok ...

Questions:
Is there a more recent list I can download that will correct this?
If not can I rename ‘new satellite’ as Astra 28 etc?
Or have I passed my technical limits and done something silly?
