Default Channels lost

Hi all,
I have flicked through various posts and tried the suggestions but with no luck!
I seem to be missing a few channels, channel4, setanta1, dicsovery realtime.....
API version 4.51e_E
Boot version 7.0
9 jul 2007

when i scan for channels, on a few, the progress bar sais "failed"?
Hope someone can help

I purchased a new splitter from maplin, and all seems ok now, only channel missing that i notice is setanta1, and i can live with that!

No problem, for Seta**a 1 if it is still showing up in your channel list but you get no picture or sound, just delete it do an autoscan and it should appear at the end of your channel list. Also check all channels named TV***, (where *** indicates a number).

yes satsmo is correct check the more obscure like tv**** numbers may just need renamed.

4.54 has proved to be quite buggy, 4.51 is quite stable, so if it aint broke dont try to fix it.
