Default NTL modem

I was thinking of buying a NTL modem with infinite stelth firmware installed, it also comes with software.

How easy is it to get the mac address and change the address?

It's dead easy to change the MAC, you need a MAC from outside your UBR.

UBR is what city your in.

Say your in ubr01.london you'll need a mac rom ubr02.london, ubr03.london ect

you get the mac address from scanning macs in your area then swapping them with people outisde your area but still in your ubr.

Send me a PM if you want to know where to swap macs ect.

UBR is Universal Broadband Router, in simple terms it's the segment of the network you are on. The neighbouring UBR could be as close as the next street, but more likely the next estate/district.

Hi there, I am getting up to speed on this subject (with help from this excellent site- cheers) anyway is it ok to ask if anyone can pm me with urls of mac swapping sites as my mates are all in the same UBR as me and don't see how I can get a mac otherwise.

Thanks.
