Unless you have a particular sub card you want to read, the various emus are similar in their abilities.

Try the latest CCcam and MGcamd but dont put too many on the system otherwise you overload the 500's memory and strange things start happening.

Hi Jim,

thanks for that. I currently only have sub cards for Bulsatcom and ITV Partners here in Bulgaria but when my wife moves over later in the year we will have our S*y card also. By then I'm hoping to have a larger dish with motorised system to see what other services are available to us ( and the all singing, all dancing 7025 that she is bringing over in two weeks ) Will the Satankeys work with the MGcamd or do I need different keys for that cam ?

Mike

As long as you download the keys for the Dreambox, they will work ok.

You will be able to link both boxes and share the cards between them so make sure you get a quad lnb for your new dish, or keep both dishes then you can have the boxes in different rooms.

Thanks Golfnut, I have to say that I would never have achieved it without the great help here and especially from Jimdefruit. There were times when that little box was heading for the bin ! Still plenty to learn though so I will be watching the forum closely, learning by others mistakes as well as my own. Thanks all

Mike
