I just got one of these STARVIEW 2 "THE BOX " CABLE RECEIVER/EUROVOX

I have completed the installation (auto search etc), but the sky channels are not shwoing, they are scrambled? Could anybody advise as to what to do next pls, im a complete noob at this.

Hi search though list of channels one by one you will find them they are duplicated in lists just look though till you find them unscrambled.

Sorry i dont quite follow, so your saying for eg:

That sky sports 1 will appear twice within the 340+ channels that it states it has?

It appears to behaving nothing more than a freeview box atm.

Can i just confirm also that i dont require to have a minimum tv package with my provider? But my connection is active due to broadband.

Yes just a BB connection is fine (Thats all i have).

You really are in the wrong forum as this is for the eurovox!

Resolved by turning EMU on.

goto menu and type 1570 this will take you to a secret menu turn EMU on exit the channels will start updating.
