Sreaming avi files from PC to 500S

Hi, I have a 500S and until recently I was able to stream avi files from my PC to My Dbox. After installing XP pro (was Home Edition) and reinstalling DCC and setting up network etc I am no longer able to do it.

I can watch TV channels via Enigma with no problem so I know the Dbox and PC are communicating but when I open Enigma interface and browse then load the movie then click File the only thing that happens is that a vlc window opens and plays the movie. BTW this happens with or without firewall running. I made sure I installed the mozilla and m3u plug-ins so what if anything have I forgotten or is this a particularly problematic area?

Any insight or suggestion would be appreciated.

Worked a treat for me on Gemini 4.3.1 and now Nabilo v0.8 (For obvious reasons LOL )

The ngrab stream is of really good quality aswel, Play in VLC or Nero Showtime.

The avi films some of my mates download are on a mounted CIFS share on my PC (XPsp2) and they play fine.

There's another TUT (sorry can't find it right now) that explains how to set up timed NGRAB recording using enigma. (Once you've set up the above)

Thanks for the link mate. I hadn't seen that one before.
Yeah I have sorted it out. It was something to do with my network connection in my OS. I have since reformatted my HDD and installed another operating system. Make sure you guys stay away from XPBlack. I do not have the vlc client on my Dbox currently but still get good quality on the streaming.
