ive lost all my channels- please help !

hi folks. new to site. scanned my d-box2 in the hope of getting more channels but after scan i now have no channels. the box is nokia d-box2, image is sportster version 1.05. i am through telewest(now virgin) in glasgow area. never new what i was realy doing to start with and should have left it alone(but coudnt find setanta1 for the fitbaw). have tried- service scan- all services- bouchets leave current- bruteforce for uk- fast scan off then start scan.... comes up- 303 transponders and goes through them all but after 20 mins or so shows (no channels found-please execute a scan)...have tried the cable sraight into the d-box for more signal but with same affect. please help.....ps with old t/w box wired up basic channels work so i imagine signal is ok.

Your image could have gone read only - you will likely have to flash a new image. I would recommend you look for a UK image like Cableferret, Andromeda, SS-Eingma or even mine

thanks for the reply... will look into flashing a new image..... ive got a laptop- do i need a croossover cable- heard of them being talked about. cheers!
