I have built a jtag and checked all connections three times over and I am getting the same Target Communication Error as tariqz.
I have the Mac_Mot running and the printer port set to EPP mode and all connections are solidly soldered. I am getting the 3volts ok on the jtag and all components that I can check are ok. Is there any method of checking the CI to make sure that is ok? I have tried STD, OCD and none will connect.

I have done exactly that but still get a not connected error with both OCD and SDT.

Yes it is green before starting OCD. I think it must be something to do with the jtag so I will rebuild it and try again.
