I've decided to move my pc + Technomate 1500CI+ to the spare room. My set up will now be as follows :-
Living room - TV, Panasonic Sky Digibox Bedroom - TV, TM1500CI+, PC with Skystar2 PCI I currently have a single LNB running from a 1m motorised dish to the Skybox. I hope to be able to link the Skybox to the TV/Technomate and maybe even switch channels on the Skybox when in the bedroom if possible. The two TV's will only be 4 or 5 feet apart, seperated by a wall of course . For starters though, as advised a few days ago, I'd like to fit direct LNB links to the Technomate and PC. The dish is on the wall outside the bedroom so not far to go. I assume what I need to fit is a Quad-output LNB? Can anyone reccommend a suitable good quality Quad LNB?

Would either of these be adequate?
Maplin > Universal Quad Satellite LNB Maplin > 4-way Satellite LNB

Yep either of those would be fine but I would go for the top one as it has a lower .db value. the top one is .3db and the bottom one is .7db for the same price although if you have a look around I am sure you can get one cheaper.

The above project was shelved and I'm just getting back round to starting it again. The Maplin Quad LNB's listed above are priced around £40 and as jontydog says I should be able to pick one up cheaper. I had a look on e-bay and there's a stack of them on there at lower prices but I don't know where to start. Can anyone reccommend a good make/good performance Quad LNB?

A Smart Titanium or an Inverto Silvertech, should do the job (amongst others) at the budget end of the market. What ever you do, don't buy one of the Sky minidish LNBs.
