Default Astra 19.2 E Radio M80 (retyped)

Can anyone help me reconnect to 'Service 30106' which is a spanish Radio station with the name 'M80' on Astra 1KR 19.2 E?

I was receiving this radio station perfectly well up until a few months back. My PVR still shows the channel with a good signal strength and good quality, but no sound at all. I retuned to it several times, but there is no sound.

los40.com - portada although spanish DJ's the music is all english.

King of Sat info is FTA M80 NID 1, TID 1058 Txpdr#58, 10847 V, Mpg-2, 22000 5/6, A PID 257. Station identifier "service 30106'.

My location is Buckinghamshire UK, and PVR is Technisat S2, All other TV and Radio stations work perfect on 3 x duplex LNB, multiplexed into 2 feeds.

[now when I press the post button this time I'll swear if it asks me to retype this lot a 3rd time after my account activation]

Hi M80,

I think I have found the radio channel you are after, it is playing English music. For some reason on my satelite receiver it is coming up named Radio 13-10847V A. But the APID is correct at 0257. My receiver does not show any of the other details.

I found the station by just doing an APID search on 19.2E for 0257.

So the channel is still transmitting

Thanks for taking interest Robbo71.

There is something not right here. Can you advise where my systems is confused?

Lynsat Astra 1KR at 19.2°E - LyngSat states
M80 - Service 30106 257 sp 10847V TP58.

My Technisat S2 identifies Service 30106 as
PCR-PID 256
Audio PID N/A, Audio Format N/A, Khz N/A.
Clearly I am not receiving the signal properly.

The adjacent Service 30105 (spanish music which I don't need), works well, shows PCR-PID 256, Audio PID 262, Format MPEG1 L2, 48 Khz, etc.

I deleted and re scanned Astra 19.2 and the results are no different.

Interestingly, before and after the rescan, I couldnot see any station "Radio 13" as you found with APID 0257. This has to be significant.

Why should you get Apid 0257 in Kent and me not get 0257 in Bucks?

I asked Lynsat if their database was out of date. Their reply was as follows:-

Both of them work fine here with one of my receivers.
With another receiver, none of them work. Strange.

Could this indicate decoding issue relevant to the receiver or my Dragon card?

Sorry mate. I don't know about the technical aspects of it.

But I can confirm that the station I picked up is definitely the correct one.

I went to here M80 Radio

Pressed the "Listen to us" (escuchanos) button, and I'm getting the same piece of music on both TV and PC ( The TV is ahead).

Have you tried entering the APID manually. I had to blind scan ( a single transponder) to find it, but a manual edit should work just as well.

I have a TM1000D receiver.

I'm not sure why it is coming up as Radio 13 either, but I think that is a foyble of my receiver when I use blind scan.

I assume its Mpeg-2 so if your receiver can decode that it should work.

Not sure what a Dragon card is so I can't comment, but the sation is Free to air so no card is needed.

EDIT:

Something else I just tried.

Go to any FTA TV channel on that transponder, and edit the APID to 0257. I just did it on a FTA Taquilla channel. and now getting M80, instead of the original audio. 10847V/22000.
