Yep.
The main problem is that the Eurovox picks up all the channels when I do a powerscan, but the picture breaks up all the time. When I do the powerscan the signal strength is approx. 80% & the only explanation my supplier can come up with is the signal strength to the house, as he has not had any other problems in my area. The cable box is the only unit connected & there are no attenuators or splitters connected. I am new to all this, so any help i can get will be very much appreciated. thanks Stu............... |

hey sparker, i had the same problem on my 2008 eurovox, my picture started to break up. wasnt to bad at the start but then got worse. tried power scans etc, signal strength was 80%+. turned out to be the the box itself. seller replaced it and no problem now. apprently there has been a dodgy bacth of 2008 eurovox's going around.
well i hope that information helps you ina nyways. |

I have exactly the same problem.
I have changed the splitter, removed the isolator, changed the cables, changed the connectors, tried equalisers... everything. I have re-flashed the box several times. It picks up all the channels fine but every few minutes the picture will pixelate or the sound will chirp. My broadband works fine. I was thinking of buying an amplifier from Argos this weekend and seeing what difference that makes, if any! |

Hi All
I had the same problem many months ago. To solve this I tried changing the symbol rate from 6.952 which was recommended for my area to 6.887. This solved all the concerns and has never returned. I hope this helps you. ![]() |

I have just tried a '10db forward path attenuator' & this made no difference.
On the powerscan screen(before starting scan) there is a signal strength indicator which most of the time is at approx 80% but it drops to as low as 5% sometimes & I assume this is when the picture starts to pixelate |
