This is my 1st post so "Hello To All"
I am a beginner (noob) I have:- samsung 2100c ntl/virgin box (chipped but lost original atmega card) in BB3 area bk-known i think its called ird number (8digit?)-known network key-unknown atmega card- ATmega163+24c256- brand new and blank infinity USB unlimited programmer 3E ** ** 1D 25 C1 ** ** ** ** 74 DB these numbers are taped to bottom of chipped box this i think is the ird+ bk number @ do these look ok @ ive swapped some numbers with * becuase i dont know if this is secure info and will gladly give you the full numbers if required upto yet ive 1. used toxic7 and put my ird + bk number in the relevent place and put a tick in NTL, saved as exteep.bin then created the hex by dragging the exteep.bin over swapbinhex.exe wich gives me exteep.hex. 2.deleted atmega card using infinity sofware + programmer. 3 loaded exeep.hex to the ext.EEprom, lastest ntl.hex taken from my m8ys card (lives round the corner and just had same card sorted for 20 quid) loaded this to the flash, ive not reloaded anything to the int.EEprom. I then powered the NTL box down and inserted the atmega card, now ive powered the NTL box back up, put it on channel 101 (BBC1) and left it for 20 mins returning to it to find that i still get the message "card int inserted properly etc" thnx for any support Nicky Last edited by nickold; 13-01-08 at 10:56 AM. |

no joy someone told me to try leaving the exeep.bin as it is and using that instead of changing it to .hex so ive tried that aswell, still no joy |
