Anyone know what these are used for?

Hi i purchased 1 of these and it did seem to clean the picture up around the edges but it may just be in my mind one bit of luck i purchase one left positive feedback they sent me another two and said sorry for the delay so ive got one on every box in the house now not sure if answer your question but they were only £3.00 inc p+p then.

they cut off freq's normally between 5 - 75mhz and are used to disable talkback on carded boxes. They wont benefit fta type boxes in any way.
