Hey Cat, I'm a newb here (1st post) and sounds like I'm doing a very similar thing to you - want to build a HTPC.

Current plan - Vista Business Edition (I have a free legal copy) with media portal on top. I've got the TT-Budget C-1500 card and am slowly buying all the other PC components, so I won't be starting this project just yet, but definately in the next couple of weeks. We'll have to compare notes!

All, I'm a newb here and recently bought 2 x TT-Budget Technotrend C-1500 cards. Can these be used in the same PC simltaneously for recording TV (similar to hardware V*rg*n V+ or Sk* +?)

I haven't tried any of this yet as I don't have any of the software and haven't built the new PC yet, I just wondered if anyone knew if two can be used at the same time?

Thanks
