Hi Guys

I'm considering getting the 4MB Cable Broadband from V1rg1n M3d1a.

I am using a telephone 'up to 8MB' Broadband service at the moment, but speedtests return a download speed of around 2600KB/s.

Before I make the jump, just wondering if anyone on the 4MB service can tell me if their speed is comparable or better than this.

I know it differs depending on where in the UK you are, how far from the green box etc, but I am trying to make a simple comparison.

It really does depend on your location, you could try researching on cableforum.co.uk too. Lots of info there.

Normally my 4MB service runs at 3900 ish but this afternoon it is only showing 1200 ish. That is most unusual and I am normally happy with the speed.
