Comag/SilverCrest Good all-round receivers, some of which are 'patchable'

just to let yez know i have bought the sl65/12 i was asking all the questions about but i am pushed for time at the mo to have a good play with it and i also need to have a good read to learn more about it.
from what i have read it looks like the edison fw is the one to put on the box.
also i can get hold of a sly digi mini dish would this work with it as i could put this dish up and keep the one in the kit for when i go away in my caravan.

thanks again for the advice

Wise investment, Wilko.

Smart MX03 (patched) is best rather than Edision Tyran at the moment (they aren't quite identical). Even Smart MX04 has problems, at least on my SL65-12 B1 (tuner didn't work).

Don't know much about Sly mini dishes, but it should be OK for a strong sat signal like you get from 19E or 13E, as long as it's got a universal LNB and the skew is adjusted correctly. Ask in the beginners section if you need more general help with dishes, alignment etc.

Good luck!

Your Sly minidish and lnb should work ok for Hotbird 13E Astra 19.2E and Astra 28.2E as they give strong signals. I can pick them up adequately in West Yorkshire using the small dish in the camping set so the minidish should be OK.
