Maybe try rhv1 from charlie senater au fun files, with the same flash chaos v3, use the same swapbinhex to change to hex file, put the ird in reverse in pairs ie 3E or 12 last, 12 AB 34 CD would be CD 34 AB 12.

As far as i'm aware Jimbo, the box auto updated itself and is using the latest software.

di you remove red jumper and reset pin? what is the software on it?

@Red - I tried the way u mentioned using rhv1, this didn't help i'm affraid as it lost all the channels. But thanks anyway

@Jimbo - The red jumper has been removed several times, and the software version is 3_5_15_P1ON_P_P4001_R_

for you to get the message up your smart card has been removed even though its in is an image problem mate what card you using?

hes using a fun with image i supplied that i can absolutely vouch for spike, unless he has went back to the one he had before.

With all images i've used it's the same result.

The error of no card inserted is only upon the box switching on, after reinserting the card and letting it update, all works fine except for a few channels.

Can someone just confirm for me that the card number should be show in the Techinical settings menu, mine at present shows Card no - none present, and card status - waiting.

Usually says card no, whats it say in eng menu about card, ? that usualy gives a clue, cant be much wrong if your only missing a couple of channels, they may even come on after a while, make sure you have a good cable connection, you can see signal in menu too.
