I have just brought a sammy box but when i insert the
power lead all i get is err9 i have tried booting the box to em but it won't even let me do that. Does anyone know if and how this can be fixed.. Here is the numbers that come up when plugging in the power lead ld 00 ld 03 err9 |

Try holding standbye > left > right > ok buttons in ,all 4 ,then power up till ld 5 then let go, then give it 10 15 mins to update, if your in ex c&w you will have to set net id with a fun card, if pure it will set itself.

i got it wrong it is actually ER 09 and not err 09 proberly doesn't mank any difference . i tried that but it didin't work ld 05 came up but once i let go i got ld oo ld 03 and then stuck back on er 09 any more suggestions? And no it defininatly is not err 05 Thanks |

Still cannot get the box off ER 09, i have tried shorting battery
to force update always goes to ER 09, Tried to get into em still ER 09. I am guessing this box is is cream crackered, So i am gonna have to put it on death row and send it to the great Ntlhell grave yard in the sky Only you can save it.... R.I.P ![]() |

make sure you have a good cable signal, try it before any splitters, check the tuner internal connection isnt lose or broke off ( where the cable plugs in ). have you tried shorting the battery first before reboot ?.

Yea i have tried shorting battery but again
still no luck. I shall check the internal tuner connection and see if that looks ok. What i have noticed is if you look inside the box at the part of the board where the scart goes i can see i think 6 little black things well i say 6 but i have one missing i don't know if this is anyway connected with the problem or is normal as this is my first sammy box i have no way of knowing. If the connection is fine, i think i shall just get a new box will only cost £30 then fingers crossed that one will be o.k and will try again. Thanks Red ![]() |
