Hello. Fairly new here so apologies if you've read a post like this a million times but I didn't see it mentioned anywhere. Anyway if you press the Exit button when watching a channel you get a nice little EPG with a little description of whats on and a bar that shows you how many minutes gone / left of the ecurrent programme. you can also use the left and right buttons to check the now and next programmes. Handy little thing.
Anyway, whilst I'm writing I'm one of the many sufferers of flicky channels / channels breaking up making them pretty unwatchable. All my frequencies have a signal of between 80% and 84% but only some suffer from break up mainly Liverpool TV, Setanta channels, Filmfour and all others on the same frequency as those. All other movies and sports seem to be fine. I've tried changing the feed in, replacing the splitter, adjusting frequency by .5 etc but nothing helps. I've read that some people have used an aerial attentuator. If you've done so and are reading this can you let me know if this worked for you or any other suggestions. Its a Eurovox max V 2008. Thanks for all the great advice on these forums. Cheers. PS: Don't hold the fact that I'm a Liverpool fan against me

Hi Adex,
I had this problem and tried unsucessfully to flash the box with the beta2 software. I found that by repeatedly turning on & off the box at the power supply seems to have reset the box and problem went away. Worked for me.... godd luck |

Cheers for the advice both. I went out and bought an aerial attenuator from maplin today. I bought both a 6db and 12db at 4.99 each. Problem solved. No more annoying flicky channels for me. Signal is steady at around 80% when using the 12db. I can sleep at night now
. Thanks again for all the good advice.
