Default Business VoIP

Does anyone know much about Business VoIP. I need to get a new phone system and I'm thinking of going for Business VoIP apparently there is a huge saving to be made.

Any help would be appreciated

I'd be really interested in how you get on. I'm based in the UK
We are looking at setting up an office about 8 people, expanding to about 15-20 over the next 2 years.

Hi Calvin,

In the end, we went for the Coms.Net hosted IPBX service. We have had it for about a week now and it is great. The call quality is much higher than expected and we stand to save up to 49% on calls compared to a BT landline.

We chose this system for a number of reasons, not just the savings! It is free to call other network members, wherever they are in the world which is great for our contacts in America. Our network can easily be extended at the click of a button, which is important as we are a growing business.

We were also interested by the mobile aspect of the service. With Coms.Net, we can connect to the service with on a dual mode mobile, like the new Nokia range, on a WiFi connection.

I hope this is helpful for you!

Hi Tom,

That's is very helpful thanks. We are a bit hesitant about going with a VOIP solution so this kind of feedback is great.

If you don't mind could you give me an idea of the level of phone usage in your company?

Our business is primarily email based but we do have a couple of people doing some tele-sales. So there usage would be moderate. Obviously quality and reliability are our main concerns.
You seem to be enjoying good quality which is reassuring. We will have a 2 meg leased line (so thats 2 up and down) so bandwidth should not be an issue.

Cheers
