Thats what i'm using mate. Not a bad image as you say but it does have its annoying little bits that wind me up
![]() The best bit is when it just reboots for no obvious reason half way through a program. For some other reason un beknown to me it won't read my NDS or Viaccess card either No problems with my Conax or Nagra cards though ![]() Its definately better than UR10 but it still needs some work on it. I've found by just running the basics on it, i.e one emu and one screen skin, all unused things removed it seems a bit more stable ![]() Its just going to be a case of waiting some time before this receiver comes anywhere near the reliability of the Dreambox ![]() Mind you there's always DS3.5 to try ![]() ![]() Nano

I'm sure i did something with the swap file but i can't remember what
![]() No after checking it was the Dreambox i'd played with, 128mb swap file on the USB stick The Swap file was on the Hard Drive on the TM9100. Not a good move ![]() Setup a 128mb swap file on the memory card and it seems to react a lot faster now ![]() ![]() Nano

No idea Wod, i'm sticking with UR11 for now as it seems the best of a bad bunch
![]() Theres a Juliet 09beta on the go atm but I'm staying away from that for now. DS 3.5 has also been released and it has some encouraging reports atm ![]() I'm going to wait and see before i make the plunge that is DS3.5. I would give UR11 a go Wod. Since i played with the swap file (cheers Arden) its running a hell of a lot better. I've now increased it to a 256mb swap file and everything is peachy. It reacts lightning quick and it seems to have stopped falling over itself for now ![]() I've hit it with the same commands that used to make it fall over, over and over again and it keeps coming back for more ![]() Now all i need to do is get that damn NDS card working in it ![]() ![]() Nano

Got shut of the HDD out of the TM9100 last night as i just couldn't get the fookin thing to work properly. I think it was a compatability issue as theres nothing wrong with the HDD as its now a secondry master in my PC after hard drive space got low
![]() Mind you though saying that the TM9100 didn't really need it as i use the Dreambox to do all the recording on ![]() Anyway since then its ran perfect, no reboots no gbox errors, eevrything has run like a dream on it, its been up now for about 26 hours and its still working. Its the longest time its ever been up for without need a reboot ![]() I definately think i'm starting to tame the TM9100 ![]() ![]() Nano

hmm strange as the hdd i've got in my tm9100 works fine in it but shall take it out i think.
did you get your sly card to work in it yet ? i did manage it but forgotten what i did, i think it was the gb0x emu and the gb0x config file but Cccam and newcs should work so to make it work better a 2gig memory card with a swap file on it then ? |
