Changes to front of site - Techwatch Support Forums: Digital & Satellite TV, FTA, Cable, Computers, Mobile Phones, Apple and General Tech Forums

Just to let everyone know that I'm pushing the front end of the site as a news section:
http://www.techwatch.co.uk/

I've made a number of changes to ensure we cover the following main news areas specifically:

Satellite
Cable
Digital TV
Internet
Computers

Obviously, I want to put in as much emphasis on the satellite/cable/digital TV as possible, but also have the other sections to try and bring in
more people to FTA, and help them find their way in via Techwatch.

I've currently got 6 news writers working on the front end, namely so that we can qualify for syndication in Google News and other news syndication services, and generally raise the site profile a lot.

There's also a blog that isn't really used much at present, so if you feel like you have something to say, you're welcome to ask after contributing there (another option is to use a new forum plugin that would give members their own individual blog based on the forum template).

Anyway, I just wanted to keep everyone up to date on how things are developing, so please do feel free to let me know any comments, criticisms, and general recommendations of what you would like to see TW focus on.

Oh - I forgot to mention - I also plan to test feeding the news item via a script into the relevant boards on the forum, ie, Satellite News, Cable chat, etc, for direct discussion in the forums.

If it works, I can tweak it as required, but if not, I can always stop it.

Can someone tell me how to get the normal font back i think the new look is great but im so used to the old school

Hm, I'm afraid I'm not sure what you mean - are you saying you are having problems displaying the text?
