Default naked blonde needs help

hi folks, only kiddin about the blonde, but now that ive got your attention could be doin with some help plz...just replaced d-box with star view the box, everything fine at start, but ive lost a lot of epg and some of the info that comes on bottom of screen when changing channels that tells you whats on.i think ive got all channels exept 5 US(how do i get this back).had same probs with d-box and more, ive moved d-b0x to another room and its been trouble free.the set up with starview is same as i had with d-box,with a 4 way splitter/booster going to other rooms and a remote sender for changing channels from other rooms,im suspecting some kinda freqeuncy interference(if theres any such thing)is this possable, before i start pulling wires out which i dont want to do if i dont need to?not very clued up know wot ah meananswers in plain english plz as i dont understand a lot of the jargon..thankssss

starview epg isnt very good to start with, do a scan if you have lost chanells, search through for ones missing they can be obscure like tv8802 or something and need renamed and saved.
