hi angie,
you reqire 3 things,..1 is a rs232 to rs232 cable that connects your reciver to your pc,or if using a laptop you may need a usb adapter
2,..the loader gtrom v4,..this put,s the firmware on the box,
3,..the right firware or image, making sure it,s the right 1,for your box and the erea,..eg:if yours is a starview1 and your in the uk and it,s not a clone you can use the 400ee,..if it,s a clone you will need the 257fix.

before you do anything,..please make sure you do plenty of reading up!
