Default connection for starview advise plz !

Hi , i have just bought a starview box and need some advise please , we are currently getting our broadband from virgin ,so the only output on the white box (indoors) is going to my modem , do i need to buy a splitter to break into this , or do i need to subscribe to virgin for basic tv package and then swap there box for my starview ,
Please tell me i can buy a splitter !
any advise appreciated regards

just take cable out of the modem add ur good quality splitter then run 2 cables one to ur modem and the other to the starview.

3 Way Aerial/Cable TV Splitter for NTL etc + F Plugs on eBay, also, Other Satellite Cable, Satellite Cable Freeview, Consumer Electronics (end time 19-Jan-08 20:07:13 GMT) if u have ebay account one of these would do hes giving u f-connecters as well, good deal.
