Hi guys I'm thinking of buying a eurovox box for my room. Don't really know a lot bout stuff like this.I would be splitting my broadband cable. Will I still get a good signal???What box is the best to buy just now?? Do u need to frequently install updates on these boxes, if so how do install them??
I was also reading something about cable companies blocking these in April. Anyone know more about this??? Cheers |

Usually the signal level is good enough to split with no problems. Updates can be installed to the Eurovox Max over a RS232/ Null-modem cable connected to a serial port (or USB to Serial adapter) on your PC
There have been rumours of the Cable Companies blocking these ever since such devices became widely available - April 1st is one of the more common dates to be rumoured

Just connect the box up, scan for channels and watch TV
