Default Picture Break up

I seem to be getting quite a lot of picture break up on a pace 4001. I have my coax come into the house, then into a 3 way splitter (7DB gain) then into a two way ending in the box. I have tightened the joints as read in another thread, in the engineering manual it say signal quality good and the attuner is set to high.

Any thought on how to improve it?

Try it without the splitter it may be the problem, dont overtighten cable in box as it can break off internal connection, make sure no external braids are touching centre core in f plug connector.
