cable dreambox 500c

a friend flashed my dbox cable with dream uo 1321 and update 1.09 but when I go to automatic transponder scan I only pick up two satalite providers can anyone please explain how to or what to do to get forcecable uk back I have tried factory reset to no avail thanks in advance

Dreambox images don't work on a D-box, you will need to put your old image back on - the same applies if you upgraded a dreambox.

it sounds like your m8 has put the origanal software on your Dreambox you will have to reflash the box with a uk image ( 1.09 version is the origanal firm ware from dream multimedia)
some uk images require you to keep the var folder as all the modifications are in this folder so when you are promted to flash eras say no or nie.
i take it is a Dream Box 500c

Hello there are plenty images for uk for dreambox 500c i can post one for you now am i allowed to do that don,t want a ban on my second post

i was going to direct you to the fta download section but it seems to be removed at the moment i am also unsure if the cater for the dream 500c
as all i can see is the sat dreambox section which is of no use to you.

update on my last post it seems the download section has been removed or closed for the moment any way (and you need at least 50 posts)if you do a search through google for uk dreambox img im sure you will find what you are looking for.

Currently the forum has limited access to the download section to power posters.

There are quite a few sites around with access to dm500c images - maybe google can help you for now.

Hopefully, normal service will be resumed before too long.
