hi new to the site.
just bought a flashed modem.
was wandering if i cud set it up on different pc in different room from the proper modem without changing nic mac address?
Already got the cable split to the room. Is this possible??

if you turn your sub modem of you can, but if you want 2 modems on 2 pc at the same time you will need to get a mac for the flashed modem!

so i dont have to change the nic mac on the pc that i'll plug my flashed modem into?

as far as i know, you only have to spoof the nic adress if you have allready had a different modem pluged into that nic, because the network becomes suspicous if it sees two macs adresses have been used on the same nic address.
