Sounds like a signal issue. Have you tried to put the TP's in manually?

Hi, You may need to update your transponder list.

Go to LyngSat - Lyngemark Satellite and you will find the list of frequencies that DigitAlb transmit on. You need to make sure that your receiver has them all.

Also to make sure you dish is exactly right, pick one of the transponders and tweak the dish a little, to see if you can improve the signal.

Your transponder list is out of date. Most if not all of those channels have been transferred to new transponders and the names changes.

The film channels are now called:
Digifilm 5 etc
Digifilm Auter
Digifilm Premier

The new transponders are:

11055 V 27900 3/4
11094 V 27900 3/4
11449 H 27500 7/8

Hi all,
I could not agree more Jim, I have a load of cams and a few cards, some of the cards might come in handy at some stage, like the titanium, but the cams and programmers have been parked in a drawer out the way.

It is not an easy route to take, the dreambox one that is, but it is very rewarding and I am still learning and experimenting with my 500s.

As you know Jim I am waiting for my new 7025 to arrive, DHL tell me it will be Monday or Tuesday at soonest, but I shall be well pleased when I get it. I got loads of help here, and anyone who is thinking about taking the dreambox route can be sure that they will get the best support possible here.

I can get football, films and most of the documentaries on my hreambox, I don't even watch the films.

Very best regards Wez

Hi Andie,
You have your Latitude figures in dec and you seem to have your long in degrees, minutes and seconds and the two are not compatible, not only that, but you need to have them in dec for your usals. you are right to put you latitude in that way, but you need to get your 1:32:?? converted into dec. If you go to this site >>>>> Lat - Long Finder: This page helps you find Latitude and Longitude
>>>>>> you can find your full details. Before you do anything change the satellite from Hotbird to 1W Thor, what you get will be everything that you need to set up your dish and motor.

Please be aware that if you have not got your pole exactly plumb, in every every plane, it is suggested that you test it in three different positions around the poles circumference, then you will be wasting your time, because you will get away with a wee bit off if you search for your sats manualy, but for usuals you MUST HAVE YOUR POLE PLUMB.

As for the skew, DO NOT SKEW YOUR LNB, skew is for fixed dishes and will mess up the arc of your rotor. Fix your LNB in the middle of the holder and make sure it is sitting square in the holder.

Hope this has been of some help to you and you have a great time, this time tomorrow night watching all your new channels.

Good luck and keep us informed how you are doing.

Very best regards Wez

If your are West of of the GMT line London then you need to enter your long as West and it you are East of the line then you need to enter your long as East, whichever it is you will still be setting your motor to Thor 1W.

Your longitude is 1:32 w?, that is near as dammit 1.5 degree west.
(60 minutes in a degree)

so for long put 1.5
direction W
Latitude 51.3
Direction N

That is correct.
