Hi everyone,ffice
ffice" />I'm in need of some advice about how cable is wired into my house. I've got two black cables going into a brown N!L box one of which has been separated. I've ordered BB and phone from Virgin using their self set up service. Do I need to reconnect this wire before I my service will work? Thanks, Sam |

Hi,
The broadband service connects to the coax cable. You should have a box inside your house with an f-connector socket on it. You connect a short length of coax from this to a cable modem. The cable modem and any cables you need should have been supplied. On the modem there is a network cable socket, you plug a network cable into this, and plug the other end of it into your PC. ( or a router if you have one). The telephone wire is the other black cable and needs to be conected by Virgin Media. Robbo ![]() |
