Default A small dish in Strasbourg

dom's disc3.jpg

Here is a picture of my son’s setup in at his flat in Strasbourg. He is using a 38cm camping dish and gets good reception from both Astra 1 and Astra 2. We originally installed a 60cm dish but the authorities at his block of flats made him take it down. So much for the “entente cordiale”!

The dish is attached to a smal platform and is held in place by a wing nut screwed to a bolt which comes up through the middle of the foot of the dish. My son can take the dish in at night and therefore does not attract the wrath of his neighbours. To move from one satellite to another he simply unscews the wing nut slightly and turns the dish. Very simple and very effective.

As Analoguesat has already said, looks great. Very neat.

Nice! Instead of taking it down just throw a sheet or bin bag over it, they will never know

You're quite correct, Crossbones, but I think that my lad believes that discretion is the better part of valour after having had one run-in with his landlords.
