Hi, Help please, I have just bought a TM 5400+ usb, I am new to this and would like a little help to locate and info on how to install patches and software.

Patches for all TM's can be found at alsat dot com. be aware IF the patch goes wrong (unlikely but not unheard of) you may well wreck the receiver

Thanks Analoguesat, I have had a look on Alsat, but I don't realy know what i am looking for. do I want one for a specific sat or is there a general patch that I require. could you give me a little clue, as I haven't got one.

The specific patch for your receiver. Cant help you as to where it might be as Im not a member and wont join them.

You have to join to see the files.

Just look in the Technomate section, look for software for the 5000 USB series. It will be obvious which is the right one.
