Have just received a Fun Card Lite Programmer. When I try to write to a funcard, it gives me the error message: No response from processor. Please help

was my lappy. no joy with a working card yet tho. tried everything as in tuts, but no joy. going spare here

Hi mate, have used toxic 7, nagra for exteep, and funprog for writing. ird backwards and forwards, with and without a cam number? Getting frustrated now lol

your all mixed up, if its a fun u of course use funprom software if its a cheappy progger nowt but bother,put chaos flash in the flash u open up nagra get a bin image for ur area put in ur ird and boxkey save and put that in ur ext leave int blank,and away u go.

have tried the basics as suggested, but no joy. Am starting to suspect the funcard lite programmer? Had new funcard 4 supplied to it, and whatever is written to it, it comes up as invalid card. If I programme exactly the same into my old funcard 4 , I at least get a " Some settings are being updated.........................." message. Totally stumped now. Is a parallel printer cable, straight through connections, or are any of the wires crossed over, as I have it plugged directly into my printer port with no cable?

Doesnt it go into com port not printer port, im not sure if serial cable is straight through like parallel cable , have you got laptop set for com 1 port, you go into device manager and check com 1 is working.

You could try funmagic to programmer your card, I have a cheap programmer too and had alot of problems, until I tried funmagic.
